While the time consuming and high stress litigation took place, BLG implemented a strong business advisory approach that helped maintain intact the client’s business operations.
Trial Summary
BLG was able to settle the case for merely a five figure sum, a negligible amount for a
company projected to have multi million dollars in revenue per year. As a result of the quick settlement, the client was able to secure contracts with major international retailers previously unable to work with the company due to the ongoing litigation in question. BLG’s business advisory acumen also helped the company continue to grow during the litigation by acquiring more industrial machinery and settling outside disputes with vendors.

Settlement Agreement for COVID-19 Related Hospitality & Services Contract
In April 2021, Bruno Law Group was retained by a client to dispute a venue deposit holding of over 10 months for a wedding that was cancelled due to COVID-19. The client rightfully sought their full deposit back as the contractual agreement specifically accounted for it under the Acts of God clause which allows for reservation cancellations.
Trial Summary
In many of these types of cases, there are major challenges in communicating with the vendor in question and having them take the client’s demands seriously. Businesses at times use creative ways to manipulate the law in order to protect their own interests. BLG’s deep understanding of the law allowed it to, first, get the venue’s attention, and second, make it very clear that it would be pursuing its client’s interests under lawful measures that clearly stipulate their rights in this situation.
In the end, BLG was able to get its client’s full deposit returned in a matter that was efficient and to the client’s full satisfaction after waiting almost a year for the funds to be returned prior to hiring the firm!
